Aquest acord va permetre als t\u00e8cnics de Pegaso <strong>accedir al disseny de la reeixida gamma MAN SL200<\/strong>, desenvolupada sota el concepte de <strong>carrosseria unificada V\u00d6V<\/strong>, amb un <strong>disseny estructural tipus monocasc<\/strong>, que combinava <strong>gran resist\u00e8ncia i lleugeresa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aprofitant la <strong>carrosseria autoportant sense canvis<\/strong>, Pegaso hi va adaptar un <strong>eix de fabricaci\u00f3 pr\u00f2pia<\/strong> i el <strong>motor horitzontal 96A4AZ<\/strong>, tamb\u00e9 de Pegaso, muntat a la <strong>part posterior<\/strong>. Amb una <strong>pot\u00e8ncia de 200 CV<\/strong>, aquesta configuraci\u00f3 mec\u00e0nica era similar a la del <strong>Pegaso 6050<\/strong>, i permetia una <strong>al\u00e7\u00e0ria molt redu\u00efda del pis interior respecte al nivell del carrer<\/strong>, millorant-ne l\u2019accessibilitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquest vehicle va iniciar la seva vida activa el <strong>juliol de 1987<\/strong> a la <strong>flota d\u2019autobusos urbans de Burgos (SMAUB \u2013 Servicio Municipal de Autobuses Urbanos de Burgos)<\/strong>, on va rebre la <strong>calca 77<\/strong>. A la flota de SMAUB hi havia <strong>dues unitats del Pegaso 6420<\/strong>, numerades <strong>77 i 78<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durant <strong>vint anys<\/strong>, el vehicle va estar en servei, assignat a diferents l\u00ednies de la companyia. L\u2019any <strong>2007<\/strong>, va ser <strong>retirat del servei<\/strong> com a part del proc\u00e9s de <strong>modernitzaci\u00f3 del parc m\u00f2bil<\/strong>.
