Es va passar d\u2019una <strong>variada gamma de models Mercedes<\/strong> a incorporar <strong>un nou vehicle basat en xass\u00eds Renault i carrosseria Unicar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A causa de la particularitat del servei, que requeria <strong>acc\u00e9s per la part posterior per a persones amb mobilitat redu\u00efda<\/strong>, es va optar per <strong>xass\u00eds amb motor davanter<\/strong>, concretament el <strong>PS 160.09<\/strong>, un derivat dels <strong>xass\u00eds de cami\u00f3 Renault Midliner<\/strong>, adaptat per a aquesta funci\u00f3 espec\u00edfica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El vehicle comptava amb <strong>una porta davantera per a passatgers no PMR<\/strong>, i amb <strong>una porta posterior de doble fulla equipada amb elevador<\/strong> per a facilitar l\u2019acc\u00e9s de <strong>persones en cadira de rodes<\/strong>. La seva <strong>capacitat era variable<\/strong>, ja que permetia <strong>l\u2019ancoratge de cadires de rodes o butaques de fixaci\u00f3 espec\u00edfica<\/strong>, aix\u00ed com l\u2019\u00fas de <strong>cinturons de seguretat adaptats<\/strong> a les necessitats dels seus usuaris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquest vehicle va <strong>formar part de la flota de Transports Ciutat Comtal (TCC)<\/strong> durant tota la seva vida operativa.
