Aquest exemplar forma part de la <strong>s\u00e8rie inicial de vehicles<\/strong>, numerats <strong>de l\u20191 al 33<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019entrada en servei de TUS va suposar una <strong>transformaci\u00f3 important del transport urb\u00e0 a Sabadell<\/strong>: es va implantar el <strong>r\u00e8gim d\u2019agent \u00fanic<\/strong> (suprimint la figura del cobrador), es va <strong>unificar la flota<\/strong> en un <strong>\u00fanic model d\u2019autob\u00fas<\/strong> i es va adoptar una <strong>disposici\u00f3 de portes davantera i posterior<\/strong>. Aquest disseny optimitzava el <strong>flux de passatgers<\/strong> al llarg del vehicle i permetia disposar d\u2019una <strong>amplia plataforma al darrere<\/strong> per al <strong>passatge dempeus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Pegaso 6038 \u00e9s un vehicle de <strong>concepci\u00f3 autoportant<\/strong>, fabricat a la <strong>planta Jorsa de Matar\u00f3<\/strong> i <strong>emplanxat i acabat a Carrosseries Noge d\u2019Arb\u00facies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amb el pas dels anys, se li va <strong>acoblar un sistema d\u2019aire condicionat<\/strong> i es van implementar diverses <strong>modificacions menors per adaptar-lo al servei<\/strong>, com ara la <strong>reubicaci\u00f3 de barres a la porta d\u2019entrada<\/strong>, la <strong>instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 de diverses validadores de targetes multiviatge<\/strong> i el <strong>canvi dels sistemes de bitlletatge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durant els <strong>vint anys de servei<\/strong>, el vehicle va <strong>canviar l\u2019esquema de pintura dues vegades<\/strong>. L\u2019aspecte actual <strong>correspon a l\u2019original<\/strong>, per\u00f2 en el seu moment tamb\u00e9 va lluir una <strong>decoraci\u00f3 similar a la dels Pegaso 6420 de TUS<\/strong>, compartida posteriorment pels <strong>vehicles Volvo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un cop <strong>donat de baixa<\/strong>, el vehicle va ser <strong>preservat per la pr\u00f2pia TUS<\/strong>.
