Es tractava del model <strong>MAN NL 202<\/strong>, fabricat <strong>\u00edntegrament per MAN<\/strong>, i representaven <strong>una aut\u00e8ntica revoluci\u00f3 en accessibilitat<\/strong> i confort per al passatge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La s\u00e8rie constava de <strong>vint vehicles<\/strong> amb <strong>portes davantera i central<\/strong>. A difer\u00e8ncia de models anteriors amb modificacions parcials, aquests autobusos estaven <strong>dissenyats des del xass\u00eds com a pis baix integral<\/strong>, amb una arquitectura que eliminava graons interiors i facilitava <strong>l\u2019acc\u00e9s a persones amb mobilitat redu\u00efda<\/strong>, especialment <strong>usu\u00e0ries de cadira de rodes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019any <strong>2006<\/strong>, despr\u00e9s de <strong>catorze anys de servei regular<\/strong>, TMB va comen\u00e7ar a retirar part d\u2019aquesta s\u00e8rie. No obstant aix\u00f2, la <strong>necessitat de refor\u00e7ar el Bus Tur\u00edstic<\/strong> i el <strong>bon estat estructural<\/strong> d\u2019algunes unitats van permetre <strong>reconvertir-ne vuit per a \u00fas tur\u00edstic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre <strong>2005 i 2007<\/strong>, aquests vehicles van ser <strong>modificats als tallers Sercar<\/strong>: es va <strong>eliminar el sostre i part dels laterals<\/strong>, es va <strong>elevar el terra<\/strong> per millorar la visibilitat panor\u00e0mica, es van <strong>instal\u00b7lar seients resistents a la intemp\u00e8rie<\/strong>, i es va muntar una <strong>porta central amb elevador per a PMR<\/strong>. Aquestes versions adaptades es van con\u00e8ixer col\u00b7loquialment com a <strong>&#8220;jardineres&#8221;<\/strong> o <strong>&#8220;sabatilles&#8221;<\/strong> dins de l\u2019argot de TMB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El vehicle <strong>2018<\/strong> va rebre aquesta numeraci\u00f3 <strong>durant la seva conversi\u00f3 al servei tur\u00edstic<\/strong>, i \u00e9s <strong>l\u2019\u00fanic exemplar d\u2019aquesta transformaci\u00f3 que ha estat preservat<\/strong>.
