Inicialment va ser <strong>carrossat per Marim\u00f3n (Igualada)<\/strong>, ja que <strong>Ayats<\/strong>, el carrosser habitual de l\u2019empresa, no podia assumir-ne la construcci\u00f3 en aquell moment. L\u2019autob\u00fas conserva encara el <strong>motor original<\/strong>, amb una pot\u00e8ncia de <strong>21 CV<\/strong>, i t\u00e9 <strong>capacitat per a 20 viatgers<\/strong>, a banda del conductor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>carrosseria actual<\/strong>, per\u00f2, <strong>no \u00e9s l\u2019original<\/strong>. A <strong>finals de la Guerra Civil<\/strong>, l\u2019any <strong>1939<\/strong>, durant la retirada, l\u2019<strong>ex\u00e8rcit republic\u00e0<\/strong> va <strong>requisar aquest autob\u00fas<\/strong>, juntament amb d\u2019altres. Per sort, poc despr\u00e9s va ser <strong>localitzat en una platja d\u2019Argelers (sud de Fran\u00e7a)<\/strong>, amb la <strong>carrosseria completament cremada<\/strong> i el <strong>motor ple de sorra<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gr\u00e0cies a una <strong>carrosseria de segona m\u00e0<\/strong>, cedida per un <strong>transportista de Cervell\u00f3<\/strong>, es va poder <strong>recuperar el vehicle<\/strong>. Aquesta nova carrosseria corresponia a la <strong>part posterior d\u2019un Citro\u00ebn<\/strong>. A causa dels <strong>problemes de subministrament de benzina i gasoil<\/strong>, derivats tant de la <strong>postguerra<\/strong> com de la <strong>Segona Guerra Mundial<\/strong>, l\u2019autob\u00fas va circular <strong>amb gasogen de carb\u00f3<\/strong> entre els anys <strong>1940 i 1946<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquest Chevrolet estava <strong>assignat al servei Avinyonet del Pened\u00e8s \u2013 Vallirana \u2013 Molins de Rei \u2013 Barcelona<\/strong>. El <strong>trajecte entre Vallirana i Barcelona<\/strong> durava <strong>60 minuts<\/strong>, exactament <strong>el mateix temps que s\u2019esmer\u00e7a en l\u2019actualitat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019any <strong>1979<\/strong> va ser <strong>parcialment restaurat<\/strong> als <strong>propis tallers de l\u2019empresa<\/strong>, i des de llavors s\u2019ha anat <strong>conservant fins avui dia<\/strong>.
