A partir de llavors, es va destinar al <strong>transport dels treballadors de la f\u00e0brica t\u00e8xtil de Cal Font a Igualada<\/strong>, una de les ind\u00fastries m\u00e9s destacades de la ciutat en aquell moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cap als <strong>anys seixanta<\/strong>, se li va substituir el motor original per un <strong>motor di\u00e8sel Perkins d\u2019origen Ebro<\/strong>, una modificaci\u00f3 habitual per millorar-ne la fiabilitat i adaptar-lo a les noves exig\u00e8ncies mec\u00e0niques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malgrat el seu <strong>aspecte arcaic<\/strong>, el vehicle va funcionar <strong>regularment fins a l\u2019any 1980<\/strong>, transportant principalment <strong>treballadores de la f\u00e0brica<\/strong>. Quan <strong>Cal Font va fer fallida<\/strong>, l\u2019autob\u00fas va quedar <strong>abandonat a l\u2019interior del recinte<\/strong>, on va romandre <strong>fins a l\u2019inici de les obres d\u2019enderroc de les naus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En aquell moment, va ser <strong>preservat per un grup de particulars d\u2019Igualada<\/strong>, que en van evitar la desaparici\u00f3. L\u2019any <strong>1995<\/strong>, el vehicle va ser <strong>adquirit pel Museu del Transport de Catalunya<\/strong>, on posteriorment va ser <strong>restaurat per l\u2019escola taller ERVAT<\/strong>, i <strong>exposat com a pe\u00e7a muse\u00edstica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amb el pas dels anys, el vehicle tamb\u00e9 ha tingut una <strong>pres\u00e8ncia destacada en el m\u00f3n audiovisual<\/strong>, participant en el <strong>rodatge de la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula \u201cSoldados de Salamina\u201d<\/strong> i en la <strong>s\u00e8rie televisiva \u201cDel torb a la Gestapo\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualment, i despr\u00e9s del <strong>tancament del Museu del Transport de Catalunya<\/strong>, el vehicle ha passat a ser <strong>propietat de Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB)<\/strong>, que l\u2019ha adquirit amb la voluntat que <strong>formi part de la futura col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 del Museu de la Mobilitat de
