El seu disseny combinava el <strong>concepte mec\u00e0nic del Pegaso 6035<\/strong> amb el <strong>disseny interior i exterior del Pegaso 6050<\/strong>. Tots dos models utilitzaven <strong>carrosseria autoportant<\/strong> i formaven part del concepte estructural conegut com a <strong>Monotral<\/strong>, basat en una <strong>llic\u00e8ncia de la firma italiana Viberti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Pegaso 6038 es fabricava a la planta de <strong>Jorsa (Matar\u00f3)<\/strong> com a <strong>vehicle semiacabat amb estructura autoportant totalment funcional<\/strong>, que posteriorment era <strong>acabat per diversos carrossers espanyols<\/strong>. Aquests carrossers s\u2019encarregaven d\u2019afegir-hi la <strong>xapa exterior i interior, finestres i equipament<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquest vehicle en concret va ser <strong>carrossat l\u2019any 1985 per Carrocer\u00edas Ugarte (Logronyo)<\/strong>. Es va equipar amb <strong>tres portes<\/strong> eta <strong>molt pocs seients interiors<\/strong>, seguint l\u2019estil dels vehicles contemporanis de la <strong>flota de l\u2019EMT de Madrid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Va prestar servei, entre <strong>1985 i 2006<\/strong>, als <strong>Autobusos Urbans de Burgos<\/strong>, amb el <strong>n\u00famero de flota 70<\/strong>. Posteriorment, va ser <strong>cedit per l\u2019Ajuntament de Burgos a l\u2019Ajuntament de Borriana<\/strong>, on va ser destinat a <strong>activitats municipals<\/strong> entre <strong>2006 i 2011<\/strong>.
