Ce jour-l\u00e0, la <strong>ligne A<\/strong>, ligne de <strong>circumvallation du centre-ville et du littoral<\/strong>, fut mise en service, marquant le d\u00e9but du transport urbain moderne \u00e0 Barcelone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fabricat per <strong>Tilling-Stevens Motor Ltd.<\/strong> a <strong>Maidstone (Gran Bretanya)<\/strong>, aquest model va arribar a Barcelona en un <strong>primer lot de tres vehicles el 20 de maig de 1922<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es tracta d\u2019un <strong>vehicle amb motor petrol-electric<\/strong>, precursor dels actuals <strong>autobusos h\u00edbrids<\/strong>, muntat sobre <strong>rodes massisses<\/strong> i amb <strong>carrosseria tipus imperial<\/strong>, amb una capacitat de <strong>48 places<\/strong>. Estava <strong>pintat de color vermell<\/strong>, i el <strong>conductor condu\u00efa a la dreta<\/strong>, amb una <strong>cabina oberta i sense parabrisa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Tilling-Stevens va <strong>prestar servei en proves<\/strong> al <strong>Sal\u00f3 Internacional de l\u2019Autom\u00f2bil de Barcelona<\/strong> el maig de 1922. El <strong>bitllet costava 0,50 pessetes<\/strong>, i <strong>0,80 pessetes<\/strong> el d\u2019anada i tornada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tot i que la <strong>Companyia General d&#8217;Autobusos (CGA)<\/strong> va anar incorporant <strong>nous models al servei<\/strong>, els <strong>Tilling-Stevens van continuar circulant fins a l\u2019inici de la Guerra Civil<\/strong>. Acabada la guerra, l\u2019any <strong>1939<\/strong>, la CGA va fer <strong>recompte del parc m\u00f2bil<\/strong>: nom\u00e9s quedaven <strong>8 autobusos \u00fatils d\u2019un total de 88<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el <strong>proc\u00e9s de recuperaci\u00f3 hist\u00f2rica<\/strong>, s\u2019han <strong>restaurat les parts originals<\/strong> del vehicle <strong>B-8302<\/strong>, conservades per <strong>TMB<\/strong>. A m\u00e9s, l\u2019any <strong>2012<\/strong>, TMB va <strong>adquirir a un particular de Maidstone (Anglaterra)<\/strong> un <strong>cami\u00f3 amb peces originals Tilling-Stevens<\/strong>, que han servit per completar la restauraci\u00f3. Tamb\u00e9 es va adquirir una <strong>cabina de passatge original<\/strong>, molt deteriorada, que ha perm\u00e8s fer <strong>una r\u00e8plica fidel d\u2019aquesta part<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>restauraci\u00f3<\/strong> ha estat realitzada per l\u2019empresa <strong>Consman<\/strong>, i el projecte ha estat <strong>patrocinat per la cervesera Moritz<\/strong>, amb motiu del <strong>Centenari de Bus<\/strong>, celebrat el <strong>2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Photographies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
