Els <strong>cotxes 401 al 445<\/strong> van ser <strong>carrossats a la factoria de Carde y Escoriaza<\/strong> i incorporaven una <strong>\u00fanica porta central d&#8217;accionament pneum\u00e0tic<\/strong>. Els <strong>cinc darrers vehicles<\/strong> de la s\u00e8rie, amb <strong>plataforma oberta a la part posterior<\/strong> e <strong>escala d&#8217;acc\u00e9s a l\u2019imperial<\/strong>, van ser <strong>carrossats per Macosa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019any <strong>1953<\/strong> la s\u00e8rie es va <strong>ampliar<\/strong> amb els <strong>cotxes 475 al 494<\/strong>, tamb\u00e9 <strong>carrossats per Macosa<\/strong>, i amb la mateixa configuraci\u00f3 de <strong>plataforma posterior oberta<\/strong>. Tots els autobusos es decoraren amb els <strong>colors vermell i crema<\/strong> caracter\u00edstics de la companyia, amb l\u2019excepci\u00f3 dels assignats als <strong>serveis suburbans<\/strong>, que llu\u00efen una decoraci\u00f3 en <strong>verd i crema<\/strong>. Al llarg de la seva vida activa, <strong>aquests autobusos van romandre pr\u00e0cticament sense modificacions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019any <strong>1962<\/strong>, molts d\u2019aquests vehicles van ser <strong>donats de baixa per transformar-los en autobusos d\u2019un sol pis<\/strong>, i els restants van ser <strong>retirats definitivament del servei l\u2019any 1968<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>cotxe 410<\/strong> va ser <strong>restaurat l\u2019any 1978<\/strong> a les <strong>cotxeres de Vilapicina<\/strong>, amb <strong>excel\u00b7lents resultats est\u00e8tics i mec\u00e0nics<\/strong>. L\u2019any <strong>1981<\/strong> va participar en l\u2019exposici\u00f3 <strong>&#8220;Trens i estacions&#8221;<\/strong>, prestant <strong>servei de llan\u00e7adora entre els recintes del Born, l\u2019Estaci\u00f3 de Fran\u00e7a i la pla\u00e7a Catalunya<\/strong>. Un cop finalitzat l\u2019esdeveniment, va ser <strong>assignat a la l\u00ednia 747 de TMB<\/strong>, amb <strong>recorregut pla\u00e7a Catalunya \u2013 Zoo<\/strong>, operativa nom\u00e9s els <strong>diumenges<\/strong>. Tot i aix\u00ed, <strong>el servei es va suprimir l\u2019any 1989<\/strong> a causa del <strong>baix rendiment comercial<\/strong>, i el <strong>cotxe 410 qued\u00e0 apartat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019any <strong>1996<\/strong>, el vehicle va passar a formar part de la <strong>col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 del Museu del Transport de Catalunya<\/strong>, i va protagonitzar un simb\u00f2lic <strong>viatge entre Barcelona i Castellar de n\u2019Hug<\/strong>.
